The Password:JDM Dry Carbon Fiber Gurney Flap / Wickerbill is a short lip that protrudes upward from the upper trailing edge of the FC1 Civic Si SEDAN factory wing. It’s used to enhance the wing’s down-force characteristics by separating the airflow on the backside of the wing, primarily that which comes over the top of the wing. The result creates a localized high-pressure zone on the top side of the wing generating down-force.

Care instructions: Please note that these parts finished in the natural dry carbon fiber, which does not include any UV-protectant clear-coat finish. Due to this being an exterior part we recommend applying a coat of Spray-on Wax or Ceramic Coat to prevent water spots / white marks from appearing after rain or car wash. You can also optionally have a body shop apply the UV-resistant clear-coat finish for added protection.
