The Password:JDM Dry Carbon Fiber Gurney Flap / Wickerbill is a short lip that protrudes upward from the upper trailing edge of the FC1 Civic Si Sedan factory wing. It’s used to enhance the wing’s downforce characteristics by separating the airflow on the backside of the wing, primarily that which comes over the top of the wing. The result creates a localized high-pressure zone on the top side of the wing generating downforce.

Care instructions: Please note that these parts finished in the natural dry carbon fiber, which does not include any UV-protectant clear-coat finish. Due to this being an exterior part we recommend applying a coat of Spray-on Wax or Ceramic Coat to prevent water spots / white marks from appearing after rain or car wash. You can also optionally have a body shop apply the UV-resistant clear-coat finish for added protection.
