lets face it, the EK isn't that far away from its older sibling, the EG6 or its cousin, the DC2. other than just aesthetics, why does the EK have an extra opening in the front? I mean seriously, its not any better for cooling and it's really counterproductive for aerodynamics. I have never seen an EG6 or DC2, both of which does not have an upper grille opening, suffer from any overheating issues. Care instructions: Please note that these parts finished in the natural dry carbon fiber, which does not include any UV-protectant clear-coat finish. Due to this being an exterior part we recommend to apply a coat of Spray-on Wax or Ceramic Coat to prevent water spots / white marks from appearing after rain or car wash. You can also optionally have a body shop apply the UV resistant clear-coat finish for added protection.
